Joseph is greatly missed by family and friends since his sudden passing in 2009. Treasured memories and paintings continue to give comfort and pleasure to those who knew Joe and who own a 'piece of him'. His enthusiasm for life was contagious and his personality manifested itself in both his paintings and relationships, as people who bought his paintings enjoyed the person of Joe as much as the artwork that he created.

Joe's wife Melody continues to reproduce his artwork, and participates in selected local art festivals with his work,
where he was a major presence.

Sarah, their daughter, carries on the painting legacy vis a vis the inherited gene and years of painting alongside Joe. She also uses the palette knife, and while you can see Joe's influence, she has developed her own clear style that is vibrant and bold. http://www.sarahlapierre.com

Jesse, their son, inherited the musical gene, and can play anything that has strings or keys with a natural expertise. In his spare time, he writes songs and plays with friends/fellow musicians. He is a working voice actor following his dreams and living in LA with his wonderful wife, Flose. http://www.jesselapierre.com
